The Portage Lake Pioneers defeated the M&M Shamrocks 8-4 on Saturday at Dee Stadium, with Alec Broetzman and Ray Brice leading the scoring for the Pioneers. Portage Lake took an early lead, netting two goals in the first period, and expanded it with a strong second, scoring four more. M&M Shamrocks battled back in the third, with Adam Lemery and Dallas McLaughlin contributing, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap.
